In Partnership with NAESM
NAESM was founded in 1990 by Rudolph H. Carn, Madam Edna Brown, and Mae Reed in order to address the lack of services being provided to Black gay men in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. NAESM’s mission is to provide national and local leadership to address the myriad of health and wellness issues confronted by Black gay men through advocacy, services, and education.
NAESM is one of the first African American community based non-profit organization to stand on the frontlines in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Atlanta, Georgia.
