In Partnership With Matrix Human Services
Matrix Human Services’ Prevention Program works to reduce the spread of HIV through education, testing, counseling, and community-based support services. Originally founded in 1988 as the Midwest AIDS Prevention Program and later becoming part of the Michigan AIDS Coalition, the program merged with Matrix Human Services in 2015. Today, the program continues its mission by providing HIV testing, prevention education, and support services while connecting individuals to care.
Anyone who tests positive for HIV can be immediately linked to Matrix’s Ryan White programs, which include case management, early intervention services, mental health counseling, and medical copayment assistance. Through these efforts, Matrix helps individuals access care quickly, improve health outcomes, and live healthier lives.
